This week, Roy is on a mission. Some of his online friends requested he find something delicious to put on sandwiches, as they were finding taking their lunch a little boring. They wanted something a bit different, or something which was a little special, so Roy hit the old cookbooks, looking for luncheon sandwich recipes. Some of the recipes are a little odd, but he found a few which were perfect. So this week, in the first of a two week series, Roy Creates Spiced Beef Sandwiches.
You Will Need:
- Bread of your choice
- Roast beef slices
- Butter
- Curry powder
- Pepper and salt (to taste)
- Rocket or some other peppery salad leaf
Method:
- Start by whipping the butter and curry powder together. Roy made 4 sandwiches for a luncheon he was hosting, and used a heaped tablespoon of butter to 1 teaspoon of curry powder. How much you use, and how spicy you make it is up to you though!
- Add salt and pepper to the butter, to taste
- Spread the butter thinly over both slices of bread
- Layer plenty of roast beef and rocket
- Place the second slice of bread on top
- Enjoy!
