This week, Roy had some friends coming around for morning tea. He always loves to have something savoury for people to enjoy, but he wanted to try something new. He had found a slightly odd sounding dip recipe in his Grandma's cookbook and asked her what it was like. She said she had never made it, but it would be worth a go! So Roy gave it a try and was very pleased with the results. It was a really tasty dip, though it was a little runnier than he expected. It stayed on a biscuit though, so he thought he would share the recipe with his friends. So this week, Roy Creates Tasty Salsa Dip.
You Will Need:
- 1 jar of salsa. Roy likes it hot, but you can use whatever type you like best.
- 1/2 a cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 of a cup of sour cream
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
Method:
- Put the salsa, mayonnaise, sour cream and tomato sauce into a bowl
- Beat everything until the dip is well combined
- Pour the dip into a bowl
- Chill for a few hours (or overnight!)
- Serve with biscuits, corn chips or vegetable sticks and enjoy!
